Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of traditional music as well as older boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. She started singing and studying songs with her mother she began her more intensive vocal training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. When she moved into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana hopes, through her sharing of Latin American traditional songs, to bring about a desire, specifically in the younger generations in keeping the music in the present.
